Who runs this site
ANTI-DOOMER operates anti-doomer.si, a public list of people who choose to join the movement with an X account. You can contact us at hello@anti-doomer.si.
What we collect
When you join with X, we receive your X account ID, handle, display name, and profile photo through X sign-in. We also read your public X profile page for the name and photo shown in the member list. If that page is unavailable, a third-party public X profile service may provide those same public details. We store your X ID, handle, display name, photo URL, join date, and last sign-in date.
X sign-in does not give us your email address. We do not request access to your direct messages or permission to post on your behalf, and we do not store your X access token after sign-in finishes. If you apply to be an ambassador, you give us your email address and the other details described below.
How we use and show it
We use your information to create your membership, keep you signed in, and display your name, handle, photo, join date, and current place in the public Founding Memebers list. Visitors can search the list, open a member profile, and follow its link to the public X profile. Anyone visiting the site can see this information.
We read public follower counts from public X profile data to calculate combined statistics, such as total follower connections and median followers. This can use the same third-party public profile service that supplies names and photos; when its paid API is enabled, we may instead send member X account IDs to twitterapi.io about once a week. We store each count temporarily and publish only combined statistics. These are not unique people reached; followers may follow more than one member. This does not read private posts, follower lists, or direct messages. Leaving the movement removes your stored count from future summaries.
Optional community orbit
The community orbit is separate from joining ANTI-DOOMER. If you choose “Join the orbit,” we use a third-party public X data service to read your public X bio, location text, recent public posts, and accounts you publicly follow. We store up to 50 recent posts, up to 200 followed accounts, a resolved place when available, topic labels and matching signals, and a short excerpt from one public post with a link to that post on X. These details are used to show how you may connect with other people who also joined the orbit. Only signed-in orbit members can see the orbit and its match details; the full stored post and followed-account lists are not published.
You can choose “Leave orbit” on the orbit page at any time without leaving ANTI-DOOMER. This removes your orbit profile, stored posts and followed accounts, and matches. Leaving the movement removes them too. New public details are fetched only while you are in the orbit; a limited background refresh may run about once a week or less often when many people have joined. Some data may remain temporarily in provider backups.
Merch submissions and votes
If you submit a design, we store the image file you upload, its title, description, and your preferred shirt color and placement, along with its review status and any notes from reviewers. Smaller copies of the image are created for the site. These copies do not contain the location, camera, or other metadata that may be in your original file.
When you submit or edit a design, Cloudflare Turnstile checks that the request comes from a real visitor. Its image, title, and description are also checked automatically by an AI model that runs on Cloudflare, to spot content that isn’t allowed. The check only flags designs for our reviewers or refuses clear violations; people make every approval decision. Designs stay private until a reviewer approves them for the gallery. Approved designs are public and credited to your X handle, with a link to your X profile. Your original file is never public; only you and our reviewers can access it.
When you vote, we store which designs you would wear and any size you choose. Other members cannot see your votes. Artists see how many people would wear their own designs, and reviewers see vote totals and sizes to plan production.
Ambassador applications
If you apply to be an ambassador, we store your preferred name, email address, city, country, short answer about how you would help, X account link, and application and review dates. We use these details to review your application. If we decide to reach out, we use your X handle to send you a DM and your email address to email you about it. Applications are private: only people assigned to review ambassador applications can see them. Applying does not place these details on the public member list.
Cloudflare Turnstile checks the application when you submit it. You can edit an application while it is new or withdraw it from the application page. Leaving the movement also removes your application. You can contact hello@anti-doomer.si to ask about or remove application details.
Cookies and temporary sign-in data
A short-lived, secure cookie ties an X sign-in attempt to your browser. A separate secure, HttpOnly cookie keeps you signed in for up to 30 days. The temporary sign-in cookie is removed when sign-in finishes or expires. We do not use advertising or analytics cookies.
Service providers
Cloudflare hosts the site, stores membership and orbit data and uploaded designs, processes images, and runs the automated design check. X handles account authentication. A third-party public X data service receives your public handle to return your profile name, photo, and public follower count and, if you join the orbit, your public bio, posts, location, and followed accounts. If the paid API is enabled, twitterapi.io receives member X account IDs for the aggregate follower statistics described above. If paid Orbit enrichment is enabled, it also receives the X account ID and public username of members who chose to join the orbit, to return their public profile, posts, and followed accounts. These services have their own privacy practices. You can ask us for the current orbit/profile provider’s name at hello@anti-doomer.si.
Retention and your choices
We keep your membership record until you leave. You can sign out at any time. To remove your membership and public card, sign in and choose “Leave the movement.” Leaving also deletes your designs, votes, ambassador application, and orbit data if you joined it. You can leave the orbit separately, delete an individual design from the merch submission page, and withdraw an ambassador application from its page. Some data may remain for a limited time in provider backups.
For questions about your data or help with access or removal, write to hello@anti-doomer.si.
Changes
We may update this policy when the site changes. The effective date above will show when the current version took effect.
